Spirit Centre Usage Update

Sep. 23, 2020

From the update put out by the Town Council September 23, 2020.

To manage the flow of people within the facility and to maintain Alberta Health Services’ required user lists, we have designated building entry points. The main entrance of the Rotary Spirit Centre is assigned to users accessing the Field House, Weight Room, Fitness Classes and Walking Track. The North and South Entrances will be assigned to Ice Users and their spectators. Those designated to the North Entrance will use Dressing Rooms 7 and 10 and Training Rooms 1 and 2. The South Entrance will be assigned Rooms 11, 12, 13 and 14.

Facility spectator guidelines continue to adhere to Alberta Health Services recommendations and directions and may be subject to change. Spectators are permitted to a maximum of 100 persons with physical distance of 2 metres being maintained between members of different households (exceptions for core/household cohorts). Spectators are not permitted within participant spaces and must enter and exit the facility at the same entrance as the ice user they are with. Specific seating sections have been opened and marked and a standing area has been prepared according to Alberta Health Services guidelines.
